URL shortener & link management

Short links you can change, track and manage.

Xurl turns long URLs into short, branded links. Update where a link points without changing it, see who clicks, and keep campaigns organised with UTM parameters, QR codes and your own domain.

Example

xurl.my.id/launch

Before
example.com/product-a
After an edit
example.com/product-b

The short link stays the same; only its destination changes.

How it works

  1. 01

    Paste a long URL

Choose a custom slug such as /launch, or let Xurl generate one. Add a title, tags and UTM parameters if you need them.

  2. 02

    Share the short link

Use the short URL anywhere, or download its QR code as an SVG for print and packaging.

  3. 03

    Measure and adjust

Watch clicks come in, then change the destination whenever you need to. The short link itself never changes.

Features

Everything below is part of Xurl today.

  • Editable destinations

Point a short link somewhere new at any time without reprinting or re-sharing it. Every destination change is kept in the link’s history.

  • Custom short links

Pick readable slugs like /newsletter or /launch, or use an automatically generated one. Slugs are unique per domain.

  • Custom domains

Serve links from your own hostname, such as go.example.com, once its DNS points at Xurl and the domain is verified.

  • UTM tracking

Set source, medium, campaign, term and content as separate fields. Xurl adds them to the destination and leaves your other query parameters untouched.

  • QR codes

Every link has a QR code you can download as SVG. It encodes the short link, so it keeps working when the destination changes.

  • Expiration and disabling

Give a link an expiry date or switch it off. Visitors then see a clear “expired” or “disabled” page instead of a broken destination.

  • Shared workspaces

Invite teammates who already have an account to work on the same links, domains and analytics.

Frequently asked questions

What is Xurl?

Xurl is a URL shortener and link management app. You create short links, decide where they point, and see how often they’re clicked.

Can I customize my short links?

Yes. Choose your own slug when you create a link, or leave it empty and Xurl generates one. You can also give links titles and tags.

Can I change a destination after creating a link?

Yes. Edit the destination at any time and the short URL stays the same. Previous destinations are listed in the link’s history.

Does Xurl track clicks?

Yes. Each visit is counted (known bots are excluded), with referrer, device, browser and country where available. Xurl doesn’t store IP addresses or full user-agent strings.

Can I use a custom domain?

Yes. Add the hostname in Domains, point a CNAME record at the target shown there, and verify it. The domain also has to be connected to Xurl’s hosting; the Domains page shows each step’s status.

Can I add UTM parameters?

Yes. The link editor has fields for utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content.

Can I generate QR codes?

Yes. Every link has a QR code that you can download as an SVG file.
